I would say tier X is easier than tier viii in some ways now as the gap between tech tree and reward tank. i.e. SConq. vs chieftain or 279e at tier X is LESS than the gap at tier VIII between say IS-3 and SkodaT-56 or BZ176.

Ans secondly there is just as much or more gold spam @ tier VIII than tier X.
