Did they ever test enclosing area method in the clanwar environment?

Like in most of the battle royale games, the game forces players to move to from one area to another by “enclosing circle”, and thus restricting players from just sitting out somewhere in the corner, and forcing them to fight instead – So did they ever test it for clanwars?

Im sure there are benefits and negatives for system in place, but what kind of elements would it bring out if the clan war maps would work similarly as the steel hunter does? That as timer goes down, the certain areas closing up (randomly) would force teams eventually move out from the positions and force the engagement between the teams?

Not suggesting that this would be better than the system whats in place, but rather to explore value and problems what “enclosing circle” would bring up?
