Does anybody else have a sixth sense for when artillery is about to fire?

If you hold still for a certain period of time while spotted, or your tracks break, or you’re driving in a certain direction relative to the enemy back line…you just know.

Like, you haven’t heard the BOOM off in the distance yet, or heard the shell coming, but you just know that there’s a circle of little dots closing in on your tank.

I legitimately swear that my brain has learned how to recognize the signs of an imminent artillery attack.

Maybe it’s some holdover instinct from my ancestors getting hunted by lions on the African savannah. Pattern recognition, you know.
